Ivette Chen
Intern
Ivette is a senior undergraduate at Harvard University studying neuroscience. She has several years of experience working as an EMT on campus and has been actively involved in initiatives supporting youth experiencing homelessness as well as efforts to expand neurosurgical access and care in underserved countries. In addition, Ivette has extensive experience in philanthropy, having organized and hosted multiple benefit concerts through her non-profit Giving Harmony to fundraise for causes including Sierra Leone’s first neurosurgery department, women’s education, Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s (CHOC) Hyundai Cancer Institute, guide dog accessibility, foster care, and individuals living with spinal muscular atrophy.
Inspired by MH²’s integrative approach to combining metabolic and mental health, Ivette is eager to learn more about this multidisciplinary model of caring for both the mind and body.
