Advanced Assessment

The Advanced Assessment is our most comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, designed for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of their mental and metabolic health, particularly those with complex, longstanding, or treatment-resistant concerns.

The assessment begins before you arrive with extensive questionnaires and review of your history. Over two to three days in the clinic, you will spend extended time with members of our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry, psychotherapy, dietetics, health coaching, and medical care. The evaluation also includes expanded laboratory and biomarker testing, a physical examination, cognitive testing, and a fitness and movement assessment.

This additional time and breadth of evaluation allow us to go beyond symptoms and diagnoses to examine the biological, psychological, metabolic, cognitive, lifestyle, and social factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and functioning. When appropriate, we also incorporate input from family members or others who know you well to better understand your health and functioning in everyday life.

What sets the Advanced Assessment apart is the depth with which these different perspectives are brought together. After your evaluations are complete, our clinicians meet in a multidisciplinary case conference to integrate the findings and develop a comprehensive understanding of your clinical picture, along with personalized recommendations for treatment and next steps.
