Thea Cawley has over thirty years of experience in the mental health field and is a seasoned clinician who specializes in treating families and adults. Her extensive background is anchored by a twenty-five-year tenure at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where she served as a family therapist at The OCD Institute and as an inpatient social worker for patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and depression. While there, she also provided clinical supervision and led psychotherapy groups.

Thea is an honors undergraduate in Psychology from Stony Brook University, received her Master’s in Social Work from Boston University, and received her Health and Wellness Coaching Certificate from the University of Vermont.

At the core of Thea’s practice is the fundamental relationship between metabolic and mental health, with a focus on root causes rather than symptoms. She empowers clients and families to achieve lasting changes aligned with their values and overall well-being.
