Foundations for Recovery Program

Foundations for Recovery Program

A structured, multidisciplinary intensive outpatient treatment program for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient care but do not require the intensity of the Aurora Program. Through coordinated psychiatry, psychotherapy, nutrition, health coaching, and group-based interventions, Foundations for Recovery helps individuals build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and healthy routines needed for lasting recovery.

* Both of our intensive treatment programs begin with an Accelerated Advanced Assessment as the foundation for developing a comprehensive, personalized treatment plan.

Comprehensive Assessments

Advanced Assessment

Our most comprehensive evaluation, integrating in-depth assessments by our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry, psychology, dietetics, and health coaching. Through extended clinical evaluations of your mental health, potential medical contributors, psychosocial history, substance use, nutrition, and lifestyle, along with expanded biomarker testing, DXA body composition analysis, cognitive testing, and family input, we develop an integrated diagnostic formulation and highly personalized treatment roadmap.

Focused Evaluations

Psychiatric Evaluation

Psychiatric Evaluation

A focused 60-minute evaluation with one of our psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners for individuals seeking consultation, diagnostic clarification, or medication management. Your clinician will review your symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, and prior treatments to develop individualized treatment recommendations and determine whether additional evaluation or multidisciplinary care may be beneficial.

Ketogenic Therapy Assessment

A focused evaluation for individuals who wish to pursue ketogenic metabolic therapy as part of their mental health treatment. Unlike our comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments, which evaluate the full range of factors contributing to your symptoms and all appropriate treatment options, this assessment with one of our psychiatric nurse practitioners and registered dietitians focuses specifically on determining whether ketogenic therapy is appropriate, safe, and likely to benefit you through a review of your medical and psychiatric history, current treatments, metabolic health, nutritional assessment, biomarker testing, and DXA body composition analysis.
